Step-by-Step Product Directions

1. Purity Cleanser | Fungal Safe Cleanser

When: PM

How to Use:

  • Apply 1–2 pumps to damp skin.
  • Massage gently for 30–60 seconds.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel.

Pro Tips:

  • For optimal barrier health, we recommend cleansing once daily at night.
  • In the morning, simply rinse with cool or lukewarm water to maintain your skin’s natural lipids.
  • Avoid hot water as it can strip your barrier and trigger oil rebound.

2. Renewal Serum | Fungal Safe Serum

When: AM or PM (start with once daily)

How to Use:

  • Apply 1–2 pumps to clean, slightly damp skin.
  • Let absorb for 30–60 seconds before moisturizing.

Pro Tips:

  • Use nightly for best results.
  • If sensitivity occurs, alternate days for a week, then build back up.
  • Always apply before moisturizer, not after.

3. HydraShield | Fungal Safe Moisturizer

When: AM + PM

How to Use:

  • Apply 2–3 pumps after serum (or directly after cleansing if skipping serum).
  • Always apply to damp skin. HydraShield’s humectants (Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium PCA, Urea) lock in water from the surface.
  • You can moisten your face with a little water or with a hypochlorous acid (HCL) spray.
  • Smooth evenly over face, neck, and under-eye area.

Pro Tips:

  • A Hypochlorous acid spray can enhance humectant performance and soothe the skin.
  • A thin layer is enough. More product won’t equal more hydration.
  • For very dry skin, you can reapply a pea-sized amount mid-day.

Barrier Troubleshooting Guide

🩵 1. Skin Feels Tight or Dry

Likely cause: Under-moisturizing, over-cleansing, or purging phase.

Fix:

  • Apply HydraShield twice daily (morning + night).
  • Cleanse only once per day.
  • Reduce exfoliation and avoid foaming cleansers.
  • Mist skin with water or a Hypochlorous acid spray before applying moisturizer.
  • For extra dry skin or a dry climates, you can layer on a thin layer of occlusive (like Aquaphor) at night or mix in a few drops of fungal-safe squalane oil.

💛 2. Tiny Bumps or Rough Texture (Fungal Flare)

Likely cause: Using oils, esters, polysorbates, or fatty acids outside the Skynbio system.

Fix:

  • Discontinue external products that contain these ingredients. They can be hidden in makeup, hair care, and sunscreens.
  • Use only the Skynbio Trio for 10–14 days to rebalance.
  • Wash pillowcases frequently and avoid heavy sunscreens.

💚 3. Tingling or Mild Stinging

Likely cause: Weak barrier or humectant pull on dehydrated skin.

Fix:

  • This mild sensation occurs when humectants draw water into deeper layers. It’s harmless and temporary.
  • Reduce actives (like Vitamin C, retinol, or acids) for a few days.
  • Pause on the Renewal Serum until your barrier has healed.

  • It will subside as your barrier strengthens.

🩷 4. Breakouts or Purge

Likely cause: Skin detoxifying and rebalancing the microbiome.

Fix:

  • Skynbio contains no comedogenic ingredients, but gentle actives can increase cellular turnover. This brings any underlying congestion to the surface.
  • Continue consistent use and avoid adding new actives.

Fix:

  • Stay consistent for 60 days.
  • Many users see changes between weeks 4–8.
